Mid-Atlantic Jack Rescue strives to find loving forever homes for Jack Russell Terriers and Jack Russell Terrier mixes in jeopardy. We accomplish this goal through our network of volunteers who educate the public about the breed, provide support and guidance to owners and shelters, and through our network of foster homes.

The adoption process with Mid Atlantic Jack Rescue is a four-step process which includes the application, reference and vet checks, home visit and adoption.  The entire process takes about two weeks.  The adoption fee for puppies under 6 months of age is $300.00 (with an additional $100 deposit until proof of spay or neuter is provided to MAJR).  The fee is $250 for dogs from 6 months to 10 years of age, $150 for dogs from 10-12 years of age and $100 for dogs over 12 years of age. The fee must be paid in full either in cash or a check at the time of the adoption contract signing.  Our adoption application can be found at www.majr.org.
