Shadow and Whisper are a sweet, easygoing pair who are almost always found snuggled up together. When you come in to visit them, they’re usually side by side, calm and content, like two little shadows keeping each other company.
Shadow is a handsome black lop with a gentle, relaxed personality. Whisper, his lionhead companion, is just as sweet but adds a playful and expressive touch — she makes the cutest soft “whispery” little grunts, especially when she’s excited for meals or letting Shadow know she needs a bit of space. It’s a rare and endearing little quirk that makes her extra special.
Together, they are a very calm and low-key pair who are easy to care for and a pleasure to have around. They use their litter box well, are not destructive, and keep a tidy space. They enjoy their hay, greens, and pellets, and are always happy to see you at mealtime.
Shadow and Whisper were owner surrendered to a local shelter and are estimated to be around 4 years old. They have been spayed and neutered, have had their medical exams, and are up to date on their RHDV vaccinations.
Because they are already bonded, Shadow and Whisper keep each other company and bring a quiet, comforting presence to a home. They would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a gentle pair to share their space and daily routine.
They are currently living in a foster home in Virginia, near Virginia Beach -- transport to DC or other nearby areas can be arranged.
