What we love most: Nova has come so far since being found as a stray, horribly matted and neglected. Despite everything shes been through, she still has so much love to give and is happiest curled up in a lap or snuggled beside her favorite person.

What she loves most: Being close to her people! Nova is a true lap dog who loves cuddling, soaking up attention, and spending quiet time with her favorite human. She also enjoyed grooming the cat she met in foster care.

Working on: Nova is still building confidence in new situations and around unfamiliar people. She can be vocal when shes unsure or hears something unexpected and may alert bark to let you know whats going on. Shes also almost fully house trained and continues to make great progress.

Dogs: Nova would do best as an only dog. She has shown resource guarding behaviors with other dogs and is happiest when she doesnt have to share her people or belongings.

Cats: Has done well with cats and even enjoyed grooming her feline friend.

Kids: 13+ please. Nova is looking for a quieter, lower-traffic home where she can feel safe and secure.

House Trained: Almost there! She continues to make progress with consistency and routine.

Novas past was clearly not an easy one. Found as a stray in terrible condition, she needed a complete makeover, including a shave-down, spay surgery, and dental care before she was ready to start her next chapter. What she wants now is simple: a patient person, a cozy lap, and a quiet home where she can finally feel safe. In return, shell be a devoted, affectionate companion who will love you with her whole heart.
