Meet Pickles!
At just 7 pounds, Pickles is a tiny bundle of personality wrapped up in an adorable tricolor Yorkie package (brown, black, and white). This little guy may be small, but his love for life—and his people—is absolutely huge.
Pickles came to Dogworks after being found as a stray in Toledo, and he hasn’t looked back since. He’s proven to be incredibly social, affectionate, and always ready to make new friends. Whether it’s other dogs or humans, Pickles is happiest when he’s surrounded by love and attention—and ideally sitting right in your lap soaking it all in!
This sweet boy is full of charm. He’s known for giving lots of kisses and loves being the center of attention. He enjoys spending time outside in a fenced yard, where he can explore and burn off some of his playful energy. During the day is when he’s most active, and he’s always up for a little adventure or playtime.
Pickles does well with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a canine companion. While he hasn’t lived with children in his foster home, he absolutely loves kids and would likely do well with respectful ones. A home with a standard fenced yard is required so he can safely enjoy his outdoor time.
He’s making great progress with potty training and is nearly there! Pickles knows basic commands like “sit” and “down,” and responds well to verbal correction—he’s a smart little guy who wants to please. He does have some typical puppy-like behaviors, including marking and having lots of energy, and he may bark when startled or unsure.
Pickles would do best with a family who is ready to continue his training, provide structure, and give him all the love he craves. In return, he’ll give you endless affection, entertainment, and companionship.
If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and social little dog who will happily be your shadow (and your lap warmer), Pickles might just be your perfect match.
He is neutered, up to date with vaccinations, microchipped and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm provention.
His adoption fee is $350
