Yorkshire Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in San Diego, California

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. // // Meet Toffee! Toffee is a 9-year-old, 8 lb Yorkie with a gentle soul and so much love to give. After spending his entire life with one family, he was sadly surrendered to the shelter when they could no longer care for him. He also endured years of neglect, but thanks to Second Chance Dog Rescue, Toffee has received the dental care he desperately needed and is now feeling so much better. Toffee may take a moment to warm up, but once he trusts you, he becomes incredibly affectionate and loyal, your little shadow who will happily follow you everywhere. He gets along well with other dogs (currently living with both a Chiweenie and a Lab mix), walks beautifully on leash, and is calm when passing other dogs out and about. He also picked his potty routine right back up once settled into his foster home. He enjoys his daily walks and would love a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and cherished in his golden years. Toffee is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. His adoption fee is $300.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,

vaccinations, medical treatments,
