The Rescue Inn has a new resident, and she is simply shining in her new life. Meet Peanut, a 5-year-old, 6 lb. Yorkie who is proof that the best things come in small packages

!Peanut spent her first few years as a breeding dog in a mill, but she has officially retired from that "salty" life. Since arriving, she’s had a total "shell-renovation"—she’s been spayed and had a much-needed dental (19 extractions later, her smile is lighter and she’s feeling golden!).

Here is the "scoop" on this little legume:

✨ Social Butterfly: She acclimated to foster life faster than you can spread peanut butter!

✨ Kid-Tested: She is doing wonderful with her two young human foster siblings.

✨ The Boss: She is dog-friendly with pups of all sizes, but don't let her size fool you—she’s the one in charge of the pack!

✨ Snuggle Specialist: Her favorite hobby? Cuddling.
