Meet Barley!
4 months old 7 lbs Male Yorkie/Maltese Mix

If happiness had a face, it might just look like Barley. This tiny guy is as sweet as they come, with a tail that never seems to stop wagging and a heart that's happiest when he's close to his people.

At just 7 pounds, Barley is the perfect little companion. Whether he's curled up beside you, nestled in your lap, or burrowed under a pile of blankets like a tiny furry burrito, he wants nothing more than to be near his favorite humans.

Barley gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is adjusting beautifully to foster life. He sleeps quietly in his playpen with very little fuss and is making great progress with potty training.

And this boy loves his toys! He especially enjoys playing fetch and proudly carrying his treasures around the house like prized possessions. His playful spirit, affectionate nature, and cheerful personality make him impossible not to adore.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
