🐾 Meet Bud – The Sweet Little Clown Dog Looking For His Forever Home ❤️🐾
Bud’s story didn’t start the way it should have.
This adorable little guy came from a hoarding situation where he spent much of his life living in a shed. But somehow, despite his rough beginning, Bud’s spirit stayed bright, joyful, and full of love.
At just 1 year old and 9.9 pounds, Bud is proof that resilience comes in tiny packages.
We aren’t exactly sure what breed mix he is — his foster mom thinks terrier mix, while the vet leans toward Yorkie mix — but whatever combination created him also added an extra-large serving of personality. Bud is a total clown dog with a heart as big as the world.
This boy LOVES life.
He loves to play — by himself, with other dogs, big dogs, little dogs — Bud is ready for fun anytime, anywhere. He runs like a rabbit, zooming around with pure joy. His puppy energy is contagious and will keep you laughing daily.
But underneath all that fun and energy is a sweet little snuggle bug. When playtime is over and Bud is ready to relax, he loves being close to his people and settling in nearby for a cozy nap.
Bud is fully house trained, walks beautifully on a leash and harness, and rides wonderfully in the car (though he can occasionally get car sick). He does okay in a crate but may bark until he settles into a new routine. He also has the jumping skills of Michael Jordan and currently believes baby gates are more of a “work in progress” — but this smart little guy is learning to respect them and continues making wonderful progress every day.
Because Bud can be quick and adventurous, a securely fenced yard is a must. If a gate opens, this speedy little guy may take advantage of the opportunity, and his recall skills are still a work in progress.
Bud does great with children, but because of his puppy energy and playful enthusiasm, we feel he’d do best with children age 7 and older.
More than anything, Bud needs what he has never truly had before:
A family.
A soft place to land.
Someone who will laugh at his silly antics, cheer for his progress, and love him forever.
Bud has already survived hard things. Now he deserves the beautiful part of his story.
Could that story begin with you?
