Yellow Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption in Austin, Minnesota
OAKLEY (MANY APPLICATIONS)
Yellow Labrador Retriever
🇺🇸
Austin, Minnesota
April 24th
male, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Oakley is a yellow lab who came to the shelter from the city pound when his stray hold was finished. We do know a little bit about his previous home. That's how we know his real name. He will be 5 years old in July. Oakley is a big, strong, outgoing guy with a happy personality. He will be vet checked and neutered on April 28th and his fee is $150.
Oakley did live in a multi-dog household so he's pretty good with other dogs of similar size. He does know some basics but might need a little refresher on obedience training and leash walking. He will require regular exercise as he's energetic and fun loving. We think he'd be fine with older kids. We have no way of knowing about cats or other smaller animals. He's a lab with all the typical lab characteristics.
NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.
We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
