Hi everyone, Gus here!

You haven’t truly lived until you’ve had one of my hugs. I put my whole heart into melting right into your arms. Some people say I look like a Westie mix, but my foster mom says I look like that adorable dog Benji—but really, I’m just 100% lovable Gus.

I’m a happy-go-lucky guy who just wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. I get along great with other dogs that I have met, and I would really love a home with a canine companion to keep me company when you’re away.

My favorite things—Walks, mealtime, playing with my toys (sometimes I take all of them out of the toy box just to pick the perfect one), and a good cozy nap. I love stretching out on the couch next to you—or another dog if you’re busy. I’ve even been called a “Walmart greeter” because I’m so friendly and love welcoming everyone.

I also enjoy having a backyard to hang out in and spending time with my dog friends—I’ll even go looking for them to see what they are up to!

Gus has a very sweet personality and loves any attention you’re willing to give. He enjoys playing catch, exploring his toy box, and just being part of the family. He’s been a very easy foster and would do best in a home with another fun-loving dog.
