West Highland White Terrier Westie Dogs Available for Adoption in North Haven, Connecticut

Hershey is a 3-month-old mixed breed puppy. We have no idea what he is mixed with so he can range anywhere from 20-60lbs full grown. Hershey recently came to The Animal Haven after being surrendered—his previous family wasn’t equipped to give him what he needs.

Hershey is truly all things puppy: sweet, energetic, curious, and super playful. He’s learning about the world with that classic puppy enthusiasm, and he’s going to thrive with a family who’s ready for training, patience, and lots of positive reinforcement.

We also want to be transparent about his past: before coming to us, Hershey was unfortunately bullied and attacked by the other resident dogs in the home. Because of that, we believe he could do well with a calm, properly matched dog sibling, but any dog introductions should be done slowly and thoughtfully to make sure everyone feels safe and successful.
