Teddy is a happy, confident, and affectionate Vizsla who absolutely loves being with his people. He is the kind of dog who wants to be part of whatever you're doing, whether that's relaxing at home, spending time outdoors, or simply hanging out by your side. His sweet nature and easygoing personality make him a joy to be around.

Teddy gets along wonderfully with men, women, children, and other dogs. He has never shown aggression toward people or other animals and is known for his friendly and loving disposition. While he has not been tested with cats, his hunting breed instincts may cause him to chase them, so a cat-free home would likely be the safest fit.

As a Vizsla, Teddy does have an athletic side! He enjoys exercise and would thrive with an active family that can provide daily opportunities to run and burn off energy. He is incredibly agile and can easily clear fences over six feet high if motivated, so a secure yard and careful supervision are important. Teddy should always be exercised on a leash or in a safely enclosed area, as he has a strong prey drive and loves to chase moving objects, including vehicles.

This handsome boy is crate trained and can comfortably stay in his crate for up to eight hours without accidents or destructive behavior. He is quiet in his crate and settles well, though like any dog, he'll be ready for a potty break after a full workday.

Teddy is intelligent, eager to please, and listens well. He has not received formal leash training yet, but has been well-mannered on the leash so far (as long as the squirrels leave him alone). His future family should be prepared to continue working on his leash manners, and with consistency and positive reinforcement he is sure to excel.
