Annabelle is a gentle, low-energy sweetheart who thrives on human connection. She’s incredibly social with people and will happily seek out affection—sometimes even climbing right up onto your shoulders just to be close to you. Annabelle walks nicely on a leash, takes treats gently, and has no issues when it comes to food or handling, making her an easy and enjoyable companion.
When it comes to other dogs, Annabelle is still building her confidence. During her first playgroup experience, she was very overwhelmed and clearly scared, giving multiple corrections and asking for space. However, this appears to come from fear rather than reactivity, and with time, patience, and proper introductions, she has the potential to do well with other dogs.
Annabelle would benefit from a calm, supportive home that can help her continue to build confidence at her own pace. Underneath her timid moments is an incredibly sweet, loving girl who just wants to feel safe and close to her people.
