Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Mount Pleasant, Iowa

Arlo is still very much a puppy... which means he’s got energy for days and is looking for an owner who’s ready to invest time and energy into training and structure. He’s a fun, enthusiastic boy who just needs help learning his manners and understanding boundaries. The good news? He already knows simple commands like sit and down, and he’s eager to keep learning!

Arlo does well with dogs bigger than him and enjoys having canine companions his size or larger. Cats and small dogs are a bit "iffy," as he does have some prey instincts, so a home without smaller animals would likely be best. He’s also still working on his leash skills and will need continued guidance to become a polite walking partner. He loves to entertain himself with toys, throwing them up in the air and can stay busy for quite some time doing that!

This sweet boy is very treat-motivated and truly wants to be a "good boy." With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, Arlo has so much potential to grow into an incredible companion.

Our dog adoption fee is $150 and includes his neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing, and preventatives.
