DESCRIPTION
Jeebs has been with us at the shelter for several weeks. When he came in the staff jumped immediately into action to help him. He was found in an apartment complex in terrible shape. Jeebs was extremely thin with all of his bones showing along his rib cage, back, and hips. He had urine burns on his legs and feet where he had been "contained" in a filthy cage, crate, or enclosed area and forced to lay and stand in that filth for a long time. Jeebs has put on some much needed weight, but he still has a way to go. While he has been with us, besides getting a healthy diet, playtime with other dogs and volunteers, he also got all of his vaccinations, he is heartworm negative, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. Jeebs still needs to put on some weight, but mostly he needs an owner or a family that will treat this sweet boy with kindness and love. Give him what he never received from his previous owner.
