DESCRIPTION
Sallie Mae is a 1 year old spayed female Terrier Mix with a big personality wrapped in a petite frame and a heart that’s still learning it’s safe to trust again. She arrived after being left behind in Bakersfield alongside her companions Molly Mae and Ellie Mae, and she’s been slowly finding her footing ever since.
She can be a little cautious at first, taking in her surroundings before she fully leans in—but once she does, you see her playful, affectionate side come through. Sallie Mae enjoys gentle attention, soft voices, and the comfort of knowing her people are nearby. She’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply once she feels secure, and she’ll thrive in a home that gives her patience, reassurance, and routine.
Sallie Mae is ready for a fresh start where she will never be left behind again—only lifted up and loved.
We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications.
