Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Durango, Colorado

One year old and already discarded like he didn't matter...



This sweet boy is Maylo, a 1-year-old terrier mix who was dumped on the streets in Tijuana, Mexico and left to fend for himself.



No food.

No safety.

No family.

Just another unwanted dog trying to survive.



It's heartbreaking how often this happens there. Dogs are abandoned every single day and expected to somehow make it on their own in traffic, hunger, heat, and fear.



But Maylo survived long enough for rescue to find him.



Despite being failed by humans, this young boy is still full of life and deserves the chance to finally know what it feels like to be loved, protected, and wanted forever.



He should be learning about toys, cuddles, and adventures—not survival.



It costs a minimum of $165 per dog to rescue, fully vet, transport, and safely bring dogs like Maylo here from Tijuana.
