Meet Luna!

Luna is a calm, well-mannered companion who truly shines both at home and on the go. She loves car rides and sits quietly by your side without needing the window down—no jumping, no fuss, just peaceful company. On walks, Luna enjoys exploring the world at her own pace, happily sniffing alongside other dogs.

In the home, Luna is respectful and tidy, with no accidents and very little barking. She’s friendly with visitors and enjoys meeting new people, though she may give a gentle alert if someone arrives wearing a helmet. While she’s not particularly playful with other dogs, she has a history of getting along well with both dogs and cats.

Luna prefers to stay close rather than sit in your lap, quietly keeping you company and soaking up gentle affection. She thrives with patience and kindness, as she can be a bit sensitive—especially when it comes to being handled by the collar. Building trust is key with Luna, but once she feels safe, she becomes a loyal and loving presence.

Luna does prefer to have her own space during mealtimes and does not like to share food (can't blame her for that!), so she will need to be fed separately from other pets.

Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters.

A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner.

For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption.

After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and fin
