Leah - Staffordshire Bull Terrier Dog Available for Adoption in Fort Collins, Colorado

Meet Leah! This sweet girl is settling into foster care beautifully and has already impressed everyone with her calm, confident personality. Shes been wonderful with children (ages 6+), teens, and adults, and has a gentle, polite mouth when taking treats or engaging in play. Leah approaches new experiences with curiosity rather than hesitation. On her very first day in foster care, she mastered both the stairs and the dog door with ease! She enjoys spending time with her people, relaxing in the yard, and soaking up affection whenever it's offered.

Like many puppies, Leah is highly food-motivated and has yet to meet a snack she doesn't enjoy. While she is still getting comfortable in her foster home and we continue to learn more about her, she has already proven herself to be an easygoing, affectionate, and exceptionally sweet companion. If you're looking for a puppy with a thoughtful temperament, a bright mind, and a loving heart, Leah may be the perfect addition to your family.

Leah is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and spay. Leah is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, adoption applications are processed within 12 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
