This handsome fellow is Charlie who is just over 1 year old & weighs in at 12 pounds. Charlie's personality comes across in his pictures, he's a bubbly boy with a smile on his face all the time. 🐶 VIDEOS Available Upon Request EMAIL US K9LifeLineRescue@AOL.com. He's a big ol' lover & snuggler, Charlie will either sleep with you or next to your bed in a comfy dog bed. He really likes being around his Foster Mom especially when belly rubs are involved! Charlie likes bathing in the sun & taking naps in silly positions! Outdoors he likes running in the fenced yard, chasing balls or just laying around. Charlie has been house broken at his Foster Home where the dogs have zero access to carpet. He is crated when no one is home. Charlie gets along well with dogs but another dog in the home is Not required, he loves his person & that's enough for him! Charlie needs to continue learning some basic commands, he loves dehydrated liver which makes training easier.

🐶Charlie's Ideal Home:
A physical fenced yard 4 feet or more.
A retired person/s OR
Adult who works from home most of the time
No grandkids OR kids in the home AND coming over on a regular basis- Charlie is afraid, he gets spooked & will hide in the corner.
Someone wanting an active dog who likes to play, yet is snuggly.
Adopter should have previous dog experience within the last 7 years, plus
patience with the willingness to take over teaching Charlie.

🐶 Charlie's negatives at this time:
He will fly/jump over a 3.5 foot fence or gate no matter how high off the ground it is as he has jumped over & off an upper deck, then bolted away.
Charlie bolts out doors faster then you know it. He must learn the "WAIT" command & needs someone willing to continue teaching him.
Charlie has not been around Men we are unable to test him.

Charlie is Fostered Near Lake Geneva, WI. The donation for Charlie is $365.00. That paid for Neuter surgery, Two Wellness Examination by our local Veterinarian, Microchip, Heartworm Test Bloodwork & Preventative, Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccines, Flea & Tick preventative, Transport Fees, High Quality Food etc.

FINE PRINT:
Veterinarian references are Always verified. Your Veterinarian must confirm with K9LLR that your past/ present dog’s Heartworm Testing is up to date & Preventative has been purchased/scripted along with current Rabies. Call your Veterinarian Before applying to give permission for them to release information to K9LLR & check that all their records are complete & accurate.

Some of our dogs & puppies are mixed breeds & in most cases we do not know who their parents were. We do our best to properly Breed ID our pups, however we cannot be 100% sure of any mix breed.

All puppies & dogs have had a wellness exam by a licensed Veterinarian. They are healthy to the best of our knowledge & come with a Certified Health Certificate (CVI). All adult dogs are heartworm tested & have had spay or neuter surgery. Dental surgery is done on dogs with severe dental disease. Most PUPPIES Will need continued Distemper/Parvo vaccine, a Rabies Vaccine & deworming, this is the adopter’s responsibility. All dogs & puppies are fed high quality dog foods while in the care of K9LLR. We hope our adopters follow suit and are happy to discuss nutrition with you.
