Name: Aries (but, we call him TaterTot...because he's just a little TaterTot!)
Sex: Male
Color: White and Gray
Eye Color: Blue
Birthday: 01/02/26
Weight: 14 lbs (he's going to likely be on the small side)
Large Dog Friendly: Yes, Aries loves large dogs
Small Dog Friendly: Also, yes! But, he can be a rough and tumble player, so small dogs would also benefit from being super social!
Cat Friendly: Unknown, but I suspect he'd be okay around cats.
Crate Trained: Aries loves his crate! He sleeps through the night in his crate, too!
Housebroken: 99.99%. He even goes to the door when he has to go out.
Energy Level: Pretty typical husky puppy, currently. Bursts of energy followed by naps and cuddles. Loves to play with his foster brother and toys, but is also content with a treat-filled kong in his crate.
Reaction to New People: Aries is quite shy, but curious of new people. He warms up pretty quickly, but might need some encouragement (aka treats) to speed that up!
Kid Friendly: Unknown, but I suspect yes! He's a pretty social guy once he's comfortable around you.
Training: Knows sit and is working on stay/focus commands. He's VERY treat motivated, so training should continue to be a breeze.
Grooming Needs: His coat was in pretty rough condition when he came into rescue. So, it will continue to need attention as it improves. We brush him a little each day.
Fence: Yes he will need a fence.
Solo or Siblings: He's pretty pack oriented, but he's also a Velcro dog. Loves being by my side, but also loves being with his foster brother.
From the Foster: Aries has been a pretty easy puppy. He's quite smart and very food motivated. He'd do best in a home with another friendly/patient dog to show him the ropes and keep him entertained. He loves being by my side, and he excels at cuddling and napping. He's going to make a great addition as a family pet, plus he's about the cutest little TaterTot you'll ever find.
