Tanka is a female, 10 lb., brindle and white Shih Tzu. Her estimated date of birth is April 17, 2019. Tanka is a quiet poem waiting to be understood. She has a soft spirit and a story still unfolding. As a breeder surrender, she’s learning that the world can be kind, and while she may be a little unsure at first, each day in her foster home shows just how far she’s come.
Tanka is a petite girl with a beautiful coat and a calm, gentle presence. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t demand attention but quietly appreciates it, forming bonds at her own pace. With patience and love, she continues to grow more confident every day.
Tanka does especially well with other dogs and would benefit from having a canine companion in her forever home — a friend to help her feel safe and show her the rhythms of family life. She gets along well with others and brings a peaceful energy wherever she goes.
True to her name, Tanka is like a small poem — simple, thoughtful, and full of quiet meaning once you take the time to understand her. Her adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, and vaccinations.
