Hi, I'm Trooper... yes, that Trooper. The one who was almost mistaken for a skunk. In my defense, it was dark, I was tiny, and I may have been having a bit of a rough hair day.

I'm a four month old Shih Tzu puppy weighing in at a mighty six pounds of pure love. One very kind human decided not to just drive by when they saw me, and that decision changed my whole life. Turns out I wasn't a skunk after all, just a little fluff ball who needed help.

I came into rescue with a painful eye issue called ectopic cilia, which sounds big and scary, but don't worry, CAMO made sure I got the surgery I needed to fix me right up. Now I'm on the road to feeling so much better, and I'm ready to focus on the important things... like cuddles, playtime, and being your tiny shadow.

I'm still just a baby, which means I have lots to learn and lots of growing to do. Because of that, I'll go home with a neuter contract, but what I really come with is a lifetime supply of puppy kisses, wiggles, and unconditional love.

I don't let my past bother me one bit. I wake up happy, I love everyone I meet, and I believe every day is the best day ever. All I'm missing now is a forever family to share it with.

Adoption fee is: $650.00

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
