Marti is a 13-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a gentle soul and so much love left to give. This sweet senior boy weighs approximately 15 lbs and is looking for a quiet, loving home where someone is around more often to give him the comfort and attentive care he deserves in his golden years.

Marti is housebroken, good with children, cats, small dogs, and even large dogs. He currently lives peacefully with a 5-year-old Standard Poodle and a 7-year-old Bull Mastiff. He is a calm companion who simply wants a soft place to rest and someone to love.

While Marti is not formally trained, he has no bite history. Due to arthritis discomfort, he can become a little nippy during grooming, so he will need a patient and understanding groomer and adopter.

Marti does have several medical issues including a collapsing trachea, enlarged heart, arthritis, and luxating patella, so he will need a home committed to continuing his care and keeping him comfortable. Despite his health challenges, he still enjoys being loved on and spending time with his people.

Marti is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm prevention, and eats Pedigree Small Dog food.

Senior dogs like Marti deserve to know love, comfort, and stability for the rest of their lives.
