Meet Frankie – 4-Year-Old Shih Tzu

Frankie is a gentle, loving 4-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart of gold and a calm, affectionate nature. This sweet boy was found as a stray and, although he had a microchip, his previous owners never came for him. Despite that, Frankie has remained incredibly trusting, kind, and full of love.

When he came into our care, Frankie was heavily matted and needed a full shave-down—but don’t worry, his beautiful coat will grow back in no time. Underneath it all is an absolutely adorable pup who is ready for his fresh start.

Frankie thrives on affection and is happiest when he’s by your side, enjoying belly rubs or relaxing in your lap. He has a calm demeanor, no separation anxiety, and transitions well into a home environment.
