Elijah is new here, but we're already big fans.

Elijah was rescued as a lost dog alongside his lookalike buddy Louie, and just like Louie, he's still brand new to the shelter so we're getting to know him more each day. At around 6 years old and 80 lbs, Elijah is a big, handsome boy with a gentle presence and a face that's impossible not to love.

So far, Elijah has been enjoying pets from his beloved kennel staff and getting out for a nice walk whenever he can. Since he was found with another dog, we think he may have potential to do well with a canine companion too. If you're looking for a sweet, sturdy sidekick who's just settling in and ready for a fresh start, Elijah is waiting to meet you.
