DESCRIPTION
Will you be Juno's superhero? She is a girl on the mend but a bit to be desired in the meantime. She has suffered from demodex mange. This is not contagious to people or other dogs and dogs can fully recover from it with proper treatment and management. She is already on that journey, and her fur is slowly growing back in. Juno is on the shy side and needs a moment to take in her surroundings. It doesn't take long for her to warm up and then lean in for affection. She enjoys tasty snacks. Juno is a smarty pants that already knows Sit, Down and Shake. When meeting other dogs, she remained neutral. Juno was an owner surrender to one Gigi's Shelter Partners, her previous guardians had to give her up due to changes in their life making them unable to care for her, They claimed she is a Shar Pei mix, however without a DNA we can't confirm this.
Juno is a medium sized, approximately 1 year young and currently weighs 42 pounds.
Juno has received her full-service vet care, vaccines, pre-adoption behavior support, microchip and will be spayed once her skin has healed more. To meet this dog or any of our other ready-for-adoption dogs, visit Gigi's during our open adoption hours listed on www.gigis.org. By adopting a Gigi’s Grad, you are helping other shelter dogs in need get vital care and an opportunity to find a new family, just like yours — together we’re improving the lives of shelter dogs™.
Gigi's offers Training and Puppy Classes, as well as Private Behavior sessions and Veterinary Behavioral options to help get families and their new furry family members off on the right paw! Check out: https://gigisbehavior.org
