DESCRIPTION
Meet Tahns, a big-hearted adult male St. Bernard with an even bigger love for people. If you've ever wanted a gentle giant who thinks he's a lap dog, Tahns is your guy!
Tahns has a lap-loving, mellow, and friendly personality that makes him a joy to be around. Despite his giant size, he has a calm, easygoing nature and a lazy, relaxed energy level. He's happiest simply being near his people, soaking up attention, and giving plenty of sweet kisses. Tahns especially adores kids and loves spending time playing gently or just hanging out getting loved on.
This good boy is housebroken and crate trained. He sleeps in his crate overnight and relaxes out of the crate during the day without any issues. Tahns also does very well with other dogs and kids in his foster home. He hasn't been around cats yet, so a slow introduction would be best if a feline friend is in the home.
Tahns truly thrives when he can be close to his people as much as possible. He would do best with someone who is home often or who can include him in daily life and adventures. Whether it's lounging together, hanging out with the family, or supervising playtime with the kids, Tahns just wants to be part of the action.
Because of his giant breed size, Tahns will need a home with plenty of space to stretch out-he's not an apartment dog. A house where he can comfortably move around and relax will suit him best.
Tahns is a gentle soul in a giant body-quiet, loving, and incredibly sweet. If you're looking for a calm companion who will happily be your shadow and your oversized cuddle buddy, Tahns might be the perfect addition to your family.
