What do you call a Chihuahua trapped in a 90-ish pound St. Bernard/German Shepherd mix body? A Jake Bear!!!! Please say “hello” to this sweet hunk of hairy love!!! Due to no fault of his own, Jake Bear finds himself in need of his Forever Home. He was born on 4/24/22.
Jake Bear is a very loving boy who adores hugs, butt scratches, smooches, and belly rubs. He is crate- and potty-trained. Jake Bear does well with people, kids, dogs, and cats. He's so friendly and outgoing! He is an energetic guy so needs a home where he can get lots of exercise and play time. Jake has good recall but is very strong and a puller on a leash. This guy is really just a lap dog at heart and doesn't know he's big so mums the word on that!!!!!!

KPAL Rescue dogs are vetted (spayed/neutered, age-appropriately vaccinated for Distemper/Parvo, Rabies if old enough, microchipped, etc.). There will be an adoption fee of $350 + tax so that we can continue to help other animals in need. KPAL Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue based in Kenai/Soldotna, AK. Adopters should be willing to travel here to adopt as we do not allow for third party transportation. As a foster-based organization, we do not have a kennel facility you can visit.
