Meet Jones, your future roommate, personal comedian, and aspiring WWF champion.

This handsome 10-week-old Rottweiler mix is equal parts athlete and professional nap enthusiast. When he's not practicing his wrestling moves on appropriately sized opponents, you'll find him stretched out in the coolest spot in the house, in the craziest poses, dreaming about snacks and air conditioning.

Speaking of which: this little guy has very specific real estate requirements. He is seeking an air-conditioned home where he can maintain the lifestyle he has become accustomed to. Summer athlete; winter cuddler? The jury is still out. He is not especially snuggly right now but we suspect that has less to do with affection and more
to do with his ongoing battle of being warm.

He's already doing great with potty and crate training proving that beyond the puppy antics there is a boy, eager to learn and please his people. Oh and he sleeps ALL night!

He gets along well with mature dogs who can appreciate his enthusiasm while helping him learn good manners. Senior dogs, however, may not appreciate his current belief that every interaction is a wrestling match.
He has been introduced to cats and has a healthy respect for them. While he hasn't quite figured out how to play with his feline friend, a well-time hiss has been enough to convince him that cats, may infact be, be tiny dragons.

Jones has gotten his first vaccinations and his neuter has been scheduled and he's ready to find a family that will help him grow into the amazing dog he is destined to become. Our process begins by submitting an application on our website https://www.midlandcountypitstop.org/i-want-to-adopt.html (be sure the top of the app says MCPS Adoption Application, which is our new app). Once submitted you will get a confirmation email or text saying we received your application.

Apps are processed fully in the order received.

The app process is as follows:
- vet check (current & recent pets must be s/n, UTD on vax, HW tested and on HW Prev at least 6 mo of the yr)
- cats must be triple tested
- background check
- video home chat of you, your family and we've love to meet your current pets as well
- then we set up the meet & greet

All pets are vaccinated to age, s/n (or it's scheduled) and microchipped
