Bubba - Rottweiler and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Goleta, California

Hi there! My name is Bubba and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 2 year old, Male, Rottweiler mix who came to SB Humane in search of a new caring home.

This goofy, happy guy was found in Kern County alongside another dog before making his way to our shelter, and it's pretty clear Bubba loves having canine friends around. He's social, playful, and has an easygoing style that makes him a joy to watch in dog playgroups. Bubba is great at matching energy with other dogs and loves mutual play full of bouncy play bows and goofy wrestling sessions. He takes turns well, reads social cues nicely, and naturally pauses for breaks when he's ready to recharge. Even when another dog gets a little overexcited, Bubba stays friendly and keeps the vibe fun and relaxed. His overall personality can best be described as "lovable dork." He's silly, sweet, and always looks like he's just happy to be included. Bubba would absolutely thrive in a home with playful dog buddies or adopters who want a fun companion for adventures, walks, and daily laughs. Outside of playtime, Bubba also has a soft side - he can be a huge couch potato and would happily soak up attention, pets, and cuddle time after a fun day.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
