ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Johnny is a newer friend to the HT farm, so he is still settling and getting to know the routine here, but he is so patient, just rolling with the punches. He is a sweet, slightly sensitive pup who's still learning that the world can be a safe place. The shelter has been a lot for him, and much of his shyness/ insecurity likely just comes from the stress of kennel life. Once he's in a calm, loving home, we expect a much more relaxed and confident boy to start shining through. We already do see glimpses of his goofy, sweet personality day to day.
He can be a little unsure at first, but give him a few minutes and some kindness, and you'll see his gentle, affectionate side come out. Underneath it all, Johnny is just a good boy who wants to feel safe and loved.

Like many young pups, he's going through an awkward teenage phase-sometimes that means a little extra enthusiasm or goofy behavior when he's excited or unsure. With patience and a bit of guidance, he's already showing he can learn and grow.

Johnny doesn't need perfection-just someone willing to give him a chance. A little love, a little patience, and he'll give you his whole heart in return.

He's ready to leave the kennel behind and finally feel at home!
