Redbone Coonhound Dogs Available for Adoption in Oswego, Illinois

Meet Barkley, a handsome 4-year-old Redbone Coonhound looking for a loving new home! Barkley was originally adopted through Rescued Rascals and he’s now searching for a new family that can give him the time, companionship, and space he deserves.

Barkley is a neutered male with a sweet and friendly personality. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, making him a great fit for a family home. He is house-trained and crate-trained when needed, though he could use some work on leash manners since he tends to pull during walks.

Barkley thrives on companionship and does experience anxiety when left home alone for long periods, so he would do best with a family that is home often. His ideal home would include a large fenced yard where he can run and play, as well as another dog companion to help keep him company.

Despite the changes in his current family’s situation, Barkley remains a loving, loyal dog who is ready to bring joy and companionship to his next forever home.

Barkley is looking for a foster or foster to adopt family. Foster families are provided will all necessities to care for a dog in their home. Foster families are given first option to adopt the dog once ready for adoption.
