Pug Dogs Available for Adoption in Fairfield, Connecticut

Hello everyone! I’m Piper. A pretty little 2-year-old, 20 lb Pug mix ready for a chance to live a much better life as a beloved pet instead of a breeding mama. I was owned by backyard pug-mix breeders, and after a fire burned down their trailer, the neighbors helped the survivors by calling dog rescues. I was saved by 4 Little Paws Rescue, along with another pregnant mama now named Penny, and just in the nick of time! The very next day in our new foster home in Von Ormy, Texas, I delivered a single puppy on April 13th, and two days later, Penny delivered 6 puppies. It was a puppy palooza, and now that they are all weaned and getting ready for adoption, so am I. I’m now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Yep, I’m ready to GO!!

My foster mom wants you to know that I am a very sweet and happy girl. I may be shy when we first meet, but I warm up quickly, and even when I’m scared, I’m gentle and will still let you pick me up. Almost right away, my joy for life and sparkling personality resumes, and I’m running zoomies, playing with dog friends, and enjoying doggy toys. I am affectionate, not kissy, but I LOVE to cuddle, and when I see you plop down on the couch, I’m right there beside you. I am also well-behaved, housebroken, know how to use a doggy door, and only bark when I need to alert you. I enjoy going for walks, and I love a ride in the car, so feel free to take me along on road trips. I know I will become a cherished member of your family, so inquire about me today!
