Because of an accidental inbreeding situation, she was born with developmental and cognitive challenges — something no puppy should ever have to face. But despite her difficult start, Edith is still just a baby who wants love, comfort, and a chance to be safe.

And she is absolutely precious.

She didn't choose the circumstances she was born into. None of this was her fault.

Special needs puppies like Edith are often the first to be abandoned, ignored, or forgotten. But rescue sees her differently. We see a life worth fighting for. A tiny soul deserving of patience, compassion, and happiness.

Edith may need a little extra understanding as she grows, but what she wants most is simple: kindness, safety, and someone who will love her exactly as she is.

It costs a minimum of $165 per dog to rescue, fully vet, transport, and safely bring dogs like Edith here from Tijuana.
