Meet Trinket
Twelve years old. A lifetime of love behind her… and she’s starting over.
Trinket is a senior poodle who lost the only home she’s ever known when her owner passed away. One day she had her person, her routine, her safe place. The next, everything was gone.
She doesn’t understand why.
What we do know is this: Trinket is a gentle, well-behaved little lady who was clearly loved. She is the definition of a lap dog—quiet, calm, and happiest when she’s curled up beside you. She is paper trained and settles easily, asking for very little other than a soft place to land and someone to sit with.
Trinket does have Cushing’s disease, but it is fully managed and she is doing well on her medications. She’s stable, comfortable, and still has so much love to give.
There’s one more part of her story that’s hard to hear. Trinket was once used as a show dog, and her previous owners had her vocal cords snipped. She cannot bark the way other dogs do.
But maybe that’s what makes her even more special.
Because despite everything she’s been through—loss, change, and a voice that was taken from her—Trinket still chooses love.
She just shows it quietly.
Trinket isn’t looking for much. She doesn’t need long walks or big adventures. She needs a lap. A home. Someone who will let her spend her golden years exactly how they should be—safe, soft, and full of love.
If you’ve ever wanted to make a real difference for a dog who has given everything and lost so much, this is your moment.
Trinket is waiting.
