Choco is a young little guy estimated to be around 1–1½ years old who came to us as a stray in very poor condition. When he first arrived, he was extremely scared, nervous, and unsure of the world around him. But with patience, kindness, and time, Choco has slowly started learning that people can be safe and loving. While he can still be a bit shy when meeting new people, once Choco realizes nobody wants to hurt him, his true personality comes shining through. Underneath that nervous exterior is an incredibly sweet, mushy, playful little boy who just wants to be loved. He absolutely adores treats, loves stuffed toys, and has a goofy, fun side that makes everyone fall in love with him. Choco also enjoys the company of other dogs, though sometimes his playful energy can be a little much for some canine friends. Because of his history and sensitive nature, Choco would do best in an adult-only home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. This funny, loving little dog has come such a long way and deserves a family willing to give him the fresh start he’s been waiting for. Once Choco trusts you, he will show you just how big his heart really is 💙
