Meet Apollo, the friendliest Pom Pom in the K9 block!

Apollo is a 4 year old Pomeranian that came to us with too much energy for his previous owner to handle any longer. Apollo lived with a brother similar in size to him and when he's on walks, he tries pulling to go play with other dogs he deems worthy enough to be his friends (which is everybody).

Apollo has been around children, the youngest being 5 months old, and he does well with them as long as they're just as well behaved as he is! With other people, Apollo is very friendly, barks when he sees strangers visit the home but it's just because he's giving them a warm welcome- he wants to visit everyone!

In his home, Apollo is an inside dog but he does love the outdoors. If he has to stay alone, Apollo will stay in a crate fit with a pee pad just in case. (Which means he's crate trained and he does very well alone!)

In terms of play things, Apollo simply LOVES a good toy. Stuffe toys, squeaky toys, anything that he can possibly turn into a good time is alright in Apollo's book. Apollo likes to fetch, romping around with other dogs, loves going on walks and when he's all done, you can find him curled up right next to you on the couch or in a warm lap.

Apollo has been very spoiled: he's used to having his food homemade for him. His favorite part of meal time includes chicken feet and, well... just about everything so it doesn't seem like we have a picking Pom on our hands.

For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday Friday and 10:30-4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).
