DESCRIPTION

Splatter is undergoing heart worm treatment. He will need ongoing care and return trips to the NMDR clinic.

Splatter is a 2-year-old Pomeranian weighing 21 pounds, bursting with enthusiasm and charm! This friendly little guy loves people and thrives on attention-he's happiest when he's the center of your world and soaking up all the love he can get. Splatter is also very food motivated, which can be a great tool for training and bonding with him.

Splatter is still learning the ropes when it comes to walking on a leash, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, he's sure to make great progress. His eagerness to please and love of treats will make training a fun and rewarding experience.

He is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. Splatter will need to return to NMDR for his scheduled care, and adopters must be committed to strictly following the treatment plan as outlined by NMDR veterinarians to ensure his full recovery.

If you're looking for a lively, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling and gladly accept all the attention you can give, Splatter might be the perfect addition to your home.
------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
