DESCRIPTION
Meet Trixie. Trixie is a German Spitz/Pomeranian mix that came to us from a breeder. She turns 3 years old on June 10, 2026. Trixie weighs about 20 lbs. Trixie has taken a lot of time to learn to trust new people. She is happiest playing with other dogs her size and running around in her foster mom's fenced in yard. She loves to play with toys in the dark of the night when no one is watching. Trixie keeps her crate clean and knows to go in when it is time for her foster mom to leave. She is going to need a very calm and patient home that has a love for the breed. She wants to be friends but is afraid of people. So far she has only found one person that she trusts and likes to cuddle with. She will mostly hide when there are visitors except for this one person. We think he may look like someone she knew before. No little kids for Trixie as she will snap when she feels threatened or cornered. She is now spayed, had a dental cleaning and is up to date with vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $100.00. If you are interested in adopting Trixie, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.
