When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: Litter of 7 (4M, 3F) transferred from Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region in CO at approximately 4 weeks old. Puppies were weaned from mom due to shelter's decision to behaviorally euthanize mom. Puppies were transferred to CPR to continue care.

From the foster: Puppy #415, River, ebbs and flows like his name and honestly this adorable guy is just trying to live his best life! I can' blame him! There is always something to dabble in and he stays busy finding those little sparks throughout his day! He is sauve and sleek but a little mystique! He wears his cuteness well, my favorite is when you pick him up and look at his crinkles and wrinkles, it makes your heart do cartwheels. Then when you can pry for his sweet kisses it feels like you won the lottery! He came as the chunkiest of the little but that appearance didn't quite stick so he has let other pups surpass him so he can keep his undercover persona.
Let's talk about Riverisms! He loves on ya for sure but not for long because we have to investigate toys, explore the backyard, have a play session with his littermates, take a snooze, then do it all again! It is a busy life! BUT make no mistake with all the action he is NOT rambunctious. Remember, he is sauve and sleek so don't misunderstand his demeanor! He has tackled potty training with a start in the right direction! He uses potty pads well and will use outside consistently. He settles nicely and uses his quiet voice most of the time unless it is meal time. He will love it when his littermates are gone and he can actually have time to focus on his food.

The personality he has and demeanor he carries will put him into success in whatever forever home he is lucky to have. He is so fun and has been such a love the last month of growing. He is a really special little puppy and will charm his way into your heart! He is all paws in!
