Meet Blanche (affectionately known as B to her foster family), a gentle 8-year-old mixed-breed sweetheart who is ready for the loving home she deserves. This calm, easygoing girl has a very chill and relaxed personality and loves being close to her people. She’s not a barker and would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a peaceful, laid-back companion.

Blanche is eager to please, loves treats and snuggles, and is currently learning basic commands. She is both crate trained and house trained, making the transition into a new home even easier. She is great with dogs and kids, and she even ignores the resident bird, showing just how gentle and adaptable she is.

Blanche does need a little more work on leash walking. She has been mostly afraid of the leash, likely because of trauma in her past, but she is making great progress and gaining confidence every day.

Despite facing heartworm, mange, and neglect, Blanche has shown incredible resilience and a sweet spirit through it all. Now healthy and full of love to give, she’s ready to leave her past behind and begin her next chapter with a family who will cherish her forever.
