DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Josie!
I'm still learning how to trust. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was very scared and unsure of the world around me. Everything felt new and overwhelming, but with patience and kindness from the staff and volunteers, I'm starting to come out of my shell.
I'm still building my confidence every day, so I'll need a family that understands that trust takes time. The best things in life are worth waiting for, and I promise that every small step forward will be a victory we can celebrate together.
Because of my shy nature, I'll do best with someone who is patient, compassionate, and willing to let me move at my own pace. Once I learn that I'm safe and loved, I'm sure my true personality will continue to shine brighter and brighter.
I'm already vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, so I'm ready to start my journey home with the right person.
If you have a kind heart and the patience to help a scared dog blossom, I would love to meet you. Together, we can build a bond that lasts a lifetime.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
