Meet beautiful Egypt, a young girl with striking eyes and an even more stunning personality. Egypt was surrendered to the shelter on May 13 when her family moved and were unable to take her with them. According to her previous family, Egypt is wonderful with children and gets along well with both dogs and cats. Shelter volunteers absolutely adore Egypt and describe her as sweet, friendly, and eager to please. She already knows several basic commands and walks beautifully on a leash. Understandably, Egypt is feeling a little sad and confused in the shelter. During her photo session, she kept watching the parking lot, hoping her family would return for her. Egypt is a loving, well-mannered young dog who is ready for a fresh start. If you have the time, patience, and commitment to welcome a young dog into your life, Egypt would love to meet you and show you what a wonderful companion she can be.

Egypt is approximately 1 year old, and weighs 51 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been spayed and microchipped, and did test nest negative for heartworms. Egypt is waiting patiently in kennel 77; her ID # is 18966.
