Phoenix is a 2-3yo neutered male pit bull terrier mix weighing 45-50lbs. He is short and squatty a real cutie! He is heartworm negative, up to date on all his shots, potty trained, and crate trained. He does not like the crate unless it is an open wire crate not the solid plastic airline crate. He growls and snaps in the solid crates but not the wire crates.
He was left at the local city shelter and was on the euthanasia list for space. And we pulled him outta there and he is in foster care. He rides well in the car but if your car sits up high because he is short and squatty you may have to help him get in the car. No anxiety with car rides.
He likes the lady dogs not so much keen on the male dogs. He has not been cat tested. He would prefer to be the only dog or maybe have a girlfriend doggie buddy.
His ideal home could be an apartment or home as he likes staying indoors. He goes out to potty and then wants to come right back inside! He knows his commands but can get excited on walks and pull so we recommend using a harness on walks. His ideal home could be with a single person, or couple, or family with older children like 15yoa or older. He can get excited and knock over a small child in his excitement. He needs his forever home if that could be you?
