this sweet boy was found as a stray wandering in charlotte. a good sam picked him up and reached out to us for help .we agreed to take him into our rescue so long as he agreed to foster thru vetting, Heartworm treatment and til we found a home. He has had this boy for almost 6 months and JUST sent pix to us end of last week, and now he is going to dump him at the shelter end of this week. we have had no chance to even begin to look for a home with no pix or bio. but this guy has done a 180 and now wants to send him to his death. and he will not budge

Toby is sweet with people., LOVES cats, need to be slowly introduced to new dogs, once he is introduced slowly and sniffs a bit, he becomes friendly with them. But proper intro is necessary. So he is not a candidate for a dog park, but many dogs are not. He certainly doesn't deserve to be killed end of the week. He loves to play ball, loves his walks, car rides, toys but loves cuddling and attention the most.. Housebroken, cratetrained, knows basic commands. and he has NO separation anxiety. He can be left alone with no issues at all. If you want a playful lovong companion, this is your boy
