WEEKEND ADOPTION EVENTS:
SATURDAY, MAY 9 from 12-3PM: NEBRASKA FURNITURE MART DOG & PUPPY ADOPTION EVENT! We’ll be joining other rescue groups for a HUGE adoption event. NFM is located in The Legends at 1601 Village West Pkwy, KCK 66111.

TIMONE is a fun and friendly little Pit Bull mix! He's cute as can be with those button eyes and darling little ears. Timone loves to play with the squeaky ball. He's goofy and sweet natured and such a good natured and happy boy. He's good with other dogs.

Timone is a year old and he's a nice medium size at 40 lbs, though he needs to put on a little weight.

Sadly, Timone tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (we’d love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, he will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!


ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
