I'm Pepper, and I've got a whole lot of pep and love to offer my forever family. I might look tough at first glance, but once you meet me, you'll see I'm really just a SWEET girl who LOVES PEOPLE, fresh air and a good ADVENTURE. I also appear to be big but actually I'm full grown at 44 LBS.

Pepper is a young, energetic female pit bull whose family is sadly unable to keep up with her needs after welcoming a new baby who is just learning to walk. She is FRIENDLY, AFFECTIONATE, and eager to be part of a home where she can get the attention, exercise and structure she thrives on. Pepper is absolutely GORGEOUS with black shiny coat and white accents.

She does well on leash and absolutely loves being outside--rolling in green grass, exploring and happily chewing on sticks. She is working on house training and continues to improve. Pepper is also a GREAT, QUIET CAR RIDER and settles well for trips so she could be your road trip adventure girl.

Inside the home, she is generally QUIET unless something outside catches her attention. She has a high energy level and would do best with an active family who can give her plenty of outlets for play and adventure and a big, fenced back yard would be great but not required. After a good day of activity, she's more than happy to settle in close with her people for some cozy, cuddly downtime.

Pepper enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. She also seems to be okay with cats she's been around, but a proper cat test would be done to make sure. Her ideal home would include older children who can safely enjoy playing and running with her, along with space for her to stretch her legs and just be a happy loved dog. Pepper is ready for a home that will embrace her FUN energy, her SWEETNESS and her GREAT PERSONALITY.
