Hi, Im Pixely.

If I could make one wish, it would be to finally know what it feels like to belong.

I was rescued in January 2024, and for a while, it seemed like my dreams had come true. I found a family and made my way all the way to New York. For eight wonderful months, I thought I had found my forever home.

But life had other plans.

After repeated attacks from another dog in the home, I lost the only family I had ever known and found myself back in rescue care. Through no fault of my own, I was once again searching for a place to call home.

Since returning, Ive been patiently waiting in boarding, wondering when it will finally be my turn.

The truth is, Im an incredibly loving dog. I adore people and thrive on companionship. My happiest moments are spent close to my humans, soaking up affection and simply being included. I get along well with dogs, cats, and respectful children, making me a wonderful addition to many different types of families.

Im fully house-trained and know how to be a good girl inside the home. While kennel life has been stressful for me and sometimes causes tummy troubles, thats not who I truly am. The shelter and boarding environment can be overwhelming, but once Im in a home where I feel safe, my personality shines.

I love toys, especially stuffed ones, and Im always ready to make you smile with my goofy moments. Im not looking for perfection. I dont need a mansion or endless adventures. I just want a family who wont give up on me.

Someone who understands that Ive had my heart broken before.

Someone who will give me the time to decompress, settle in, and remember what it feels like to be loved.

I have so much love left to give. More than anything, I want a couch to call my own, a family to greet every day, and the security of knowing that this time, its forever.

Ive already lost one home. I dont want to spend another year waiting for the next one.
