Nectar is a tiny little lovebug who is just starting to discover the world around her, and every single thing feels brand new and exciting. At only one month old, she is still in that unbelievably sweet baby stage where she waddles instead of runs, falls asleep mid-play, and climbs into laps like she has already decided people are the greatest thing ever invented. She has the softest little puppy curiosity about her. You can practically see her figuring things out in real time. One second she is bravely exploring a toy twice her size, and the next she is snuggled up against you for comfort because being a baby is hard work.
Nectar has such a gentle, affectionate personality already. She loves being held close and melts completely when she gets attention. She is playful in the cutest baby-puppy way, bouncing around with tiny awkward zoomies and trying so hard to interact with the world. She loves wrestling with her siblings, crawling into cozy spots, and trying to climb into laps for cuddles even when she’s too sleepy to stay awake. She is the kind of puppy who makes people instantly smile.

Because she is still so young, Nectar is very much a blank slate. Her future family will get to watch her personality grow and change as she learns more about the world. She will need patience, love, structure, training, and guidance while she grows into the dog she is meant to be. Right now she is just a tiny baby learning confidence, routines, and trust. The beautiful part is that whoever adopts her gets to be part of every step of that journey.
Nectar is sweet, cuddly, playful, innocent, and full of potential. She is looking for a family excited for the puppy stage — the goofy moments, the learning moments, the tiny milestones, and the deep bond that comes from raising a puppy with love.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
